There is absolutely such a thing as too much liberal
activism, as we know from eight years of Obama’s open borders, Obamacare, Gay
marriage, LGBT restrooms, a nuke deal with Iran, etc. In the last eight years,
Obama’s actions and policies have broken duly passed laws and were in violation
of the constitution just as they were contrary to polite, appropriate behavior
among the American population.
But along the same line of thought that asserts one
cannot have too much liberty and freedom, I don’t think America can have too
much conservatism because real conservatives obey the constitution, they abide
by the laws, and they insist that all Americans have the same rights and
liberties (and the pursuit of happiness) that they, the conservatives, have and
enjoy.
One will look a long way among the most conservative
cities in America to find a murder rate even approaching that of the very
liberal, and sanctuary-providing, Chicago. And looking further afield elsewhere
in the world, the most left-leaning nations (Cuba, North Korea) are the most
oppressive. It’s too bad American leftists don’t have the ability to critically
examine their opinions and policies or they would understand the blessing America
provides to the poorest and most wealthy among us.
